I was talking to Bill at Victory about specific beers that would match well BBQ.

Bill recommended the following Victory Brewing beers

Festbier – mildly sweet and nutty as a foil against your most highly spiced items

HopDevil Ale – same malt richness as Festbier but assertive, aromatic hops complement exotic spices (cumin, mustard, ginger…) and can match heat

Storm King Stout – dark and rich with 9.2% abv; save this one for brisket.
